How this site works

One More Distributors Ltd is a Canadian company in Toronto. This site publishes independent product recommendations in three categories and is funded by affiliate commission.

What we cover

Three categories, chosen because the buying decision is genuinely hard and existing coverage is thin: Home Tech, Kitchen Tech, and Abili-Tech. We do not cover phones, laptops, or anything else already served by a hundred adequate review sites.

How we pick

Define the job
What the product has to do, for whom, and under what real constraints: budget, space, existing setup, physical requirements.

Narrow to a real shortlist
Specifications, current pricing, warranty and Canadian availability. Anything without a Canadian service path is cut regardless of how it reviews elsewhere.

Name one pick and one alternative
A main pick plus a budget or specialised alternative. If nothing in a category is worth buying, we say that instead of filling the slot.

How we make money

Affiliate commission. When you buy through a link on this site, the retailer pays us a percentage. You pay the same price either way.

Commission rates vary by product category, which creates an obvious incentive problem. Our answer is that we name the pick before checking what it pays, and we publish "nothing here is worth buying" when that is the honest finding. If you think a recommendation looks bought, say so and we will show our reasoning.
